Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has sparked a monstrous fight between UFC fighter Francis Ngannou and boxer Anthony Joshua.
Hearn even suggested a two-fight deal, one in the UFC and the other in boxing between Ngannou and Dillian Whyte.
Ngannou, who became the UFC heavyweight champion last month, hinted that he would switch to boxing to face Joshua or Tyson Fury.
Hearn has captured his comments and appears to have been on board while talking about Ngannou with Joshua or Whyte.
“AJ wants to be the best, but he also wants to do different things once he achieves his goals,” Hearn initially said.
“So a war with Francis Ngannou is not impossible. “Like Katie Taylor vs Cyborg or Nunes, potentially.”
However, it seems Hearn is looking for Ngannou against Whyte in a two-fight series that would see one fight in the octagon and another in the boxing ring.
“I love Francis Ngannou. “We almost had an agreement with Dillian Whyte and him, but the UFC closed it after we recorded it.”
“However, we have the idea. “I would like to see a double match with Ngannou and Dillian Whyte.”
“A match in the cage and one outside,” concluded the 41-year-old promoter.
