The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has received the letter in which the state government gives the green light for the return of fans to the stadium, but this will only happen at the Olimpico of Rome for the national matches at Euro 2020 and with a capacity of 25 for hundreds.
The Italian government says ‘yes’. The “Italian” European is now safe.
A little while ago, FIGC received the letter with which the Deputy Secretary for Sports, Valentina Vezzali on behalf of the government has given the green light to the presence of spectators.
However, this will happen for at least 25 percent of capacity – at the Olympic Stadium in Rome for four scheduled matches.
Roma will host three group matches – including the opening match of the tournament between Italy and Turkey on June 11 – and a quarter-final.
In addition to the first inaugural match on June 11, the Italy-Wales match will be played there, while July 3 will be the last match to take place.
