The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo, Hajrullah Çeku, congratulated Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee for the 50th edition of the Championship Trim organized by the BREF organization in cooperation with the Bahrain War Games Council and the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation as part of activities from 18 March to 1 April.
“We congratulate Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the success of the 50th edition of the Mixed Martial Arts Championship for Professionals,” said Ceku.
The success of this championship at the level of global sport MMA is a confirmation of the extraordinary efforts of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to support this sport and strengthen the presence of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the continental level and the international stage.
He added that the Brave Championship is an inspiring success story for the Kingdom of Bahrain. In the world of sports, she reaffirms the development and advancement of this sport in Bahrain and notes that the Kosovo Mixed Martial Arts Federation, led by Besart Berisha, is working hard to develop this sport in Kosovo and expects Kosovo players have full support to compete in the BRAVE championship.
The President of the Mixed Martial Arts Federation of Kosovo, Besart Berisha, said: “First of all, we congratulate Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the success of the 50th edition of the Mixed Martial Arts Courage Championship thanks to the vision he has set for this tour, implemented by the landscape organization headed by Mohammed Shahid, set in the world of mixed martial arts. “He wanted the tournament to be more successful.”
He added that the Kosovo Mixed Martial Arts Federation of Kosovo is constantly working to develop relations with member associations of the International IMMAF Federation and that his association is trying to strengthen joint cooperation with the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation to build a joint work system aimed at developing the game in both countries and helping to strengthen its international presence.
